NON-COVERED

Non-Covered Treatment Fees

Information about our notice of non-covered treatment items and fees.

Effective date: November 1, 2026

Gangnam Pieobom Clinic discloses non-covered treatment fees in accordance with Article 45 of the Medical Service Act and Article 42-2 of its Enforcement Rules.

1. What are non-covered treatments?

These are treatments not covered by national health insurance, so the patient pays the full cost. Most treatments the Clinic offers, such as fillers and botulinum toxin, lifting, skin boosters, pigmentation and pore treatments, eye surgery, and body treatments, are non-covered. Non-covered fees are set by each clinic and may differ between medical institutions.

2. Where Non-Covered Fees Are Posted

  • Website: You can check non-covered items and amounts for each treatment on the Prices page. Amounts are shown in the order of treatment name, composition (number of shots, dose, etc.), and amount (VAT excluded).
  • In the clinic: A guide to non-covered treatment fees is available at the reception desk and other places easy for patients to see.
  • Public information: You can also compare non-covered amounts by medical institution on the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service’s non-covered fee information service.

3. How Amounts Are Shown

  • Amounts are exclusive of VAT and are shown in Korean won (KRW).
  • Treatment fees may vary with the number of sessions and the scope of treatment (area, dose, number of shots, etc.), and if treatment materials or medication are additionally needed, they may be charged separately.
  • Some anesthesia costs are listed separately from the treatment fee. Please see the FAQ and the price guide for details.
  • The “estimated total” is the sum of the items you selected, and the final amount is confirmed at consultation.

4. Event Prices

Event prices apply only during the stated period and under the stated conditions, and after the period ends the regular price applies. Event prices also exclude VAT.

5. Aftercare and Complication Care

Treatment for complications is listed as a separate medical item. The method and cost of treatment are decided after we examine your condition, and we will tell you before treatment.

6. Payment and Refunds

Payment is made on the day of treatment at the amount confirmed through consultation. Cancellations and refunds follow the Medical Service Act, the Framework Act on Consumers, and other relevant laws and the consumer dispute resolution guidelines; for packages and multi-session products, we will explain the terms at the consultation before treatment.

7. Notice of Price Changes

Non-covered amounts may change depending on the Clinic’s circumstances. When we change an amount, we update the website and the in-clinic notice together, and changes after the effective date of this notice are reflected on the Prices page.

8. Inquiries

If you need an explanation of non-covered items and amounts, please contact us by phone at +82-2-1644-8343 or by email at pieobomclinic@gmail.com. We will confirm the amount for each item again at the consultation before treatment.
